Robot mower replacement blades are small, double-edged razor blades that pivot on a spinning disc. They cost about $15–$50 a set and should be replaced roughly every 1–3 months of mowing: Husqvarna recommends every 2 months, and Mammotion says to flip its blades at about 50 hours and replace them at about 150. Buy genuine blades when your brand sells them on Amazon. Third-party packs are cheaper, but fit is the seller’s claim, so check it.
This guide is compiled from manufacturer product and support pages and the Amazon listings in our accessory database (checked October 2026; listings change). We don’t hands-on test blades.
Why robot mowers use tiny pivoting razor blades
A gas mower uses one heavy bar blade that hits grass hard and rarely. A robot mower does the opposite: it cuts a little grass every day or two, so it only needs to snip the tips. That allows small, light blades, typically three on a disc.
The design has three advantages:
- Safety. The blades pivot on their screws, so they fold back when they hit a root, stone or toy instead of transferring the full impact. Husqvarna describes its Endurance blade as a “safety blade according to standards.”
- Efficiency. Light blades need far less power, which helps battery life and runtime.
- Cheap replacement. Instead of sharpening a heavy blade, you swap inexpensive ones. Many are double-edged so you can flip them once.
The trade-off is that they dull faster than a gas mower blade, so blades are the main recurring cost of owning a robot. See our robot mower maintenance guide for the full yearly budget.
How often to change robot mower blades
The honest answer is “it depends on your lawn,” but manufacturers give useful anchors:
| Brand | Guidance | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Husqvarna | Replace every 2 months for “optimal mowing results and low energy usage,” varying with grass type and yard size | Automower support center |
| Husqvarna | Endurance blades last “more than twice the lifetime” of its classic blades | Endurance blade product page |
| Mammotion | Flip blades at 50 hours, replace at 150 hours (tested on Zoysia grass) | Endurance Replacement Blades product page |
Hours translate to calendar time based on how much your mower runs. A mower working about 15–20 hours a week would reach Mammotion’s 150-hour mark in roughly two months, which lines up with Husqvarna’s advice. Owners and reviewers commonly report 1–3 months.
Blades wear faster with: sandy soil, twigs, acorns, pine cones, gravel edges, tough grass types and big lawns that run many hours a week. They last longer on: small, clean, frequently mowed lawns.
Husqvarna also recommends changing blades and screws as part of winter preparation, which means you start spring with a sharp set and nothing rusts in place.
Signs your robot mower blades are dull
Don’t wait for the calendar if you see these:
- Torn, frayed or white-brown grass tips a day after mowing. Sharp blades slice; dull ones tear.
- Uneven patches or tufts left standing.
- A louder or rougher sound from the deck.
- Shorter runtime or more recharging. Husqvarna links sharp blades to lower energy use.
- Visible damage: nicks, bends, rounded edges or a blade that doesn’t pivot freely.
Ragged results can also come from grass packed under the deck, so clean the underside first. Our troubleshooting guide covers other causes of a poor cut.
Genuine vs third-party: are compatible blades OK?
Genuine blades cost more but fit by definition, and they’re what the warranty assumes. Third-party packs (FourShow, KuddinX, EMBerg, Green Piece and others) often cost half as much per blade and come in bigger packs.
Be clear about what a third-party “compatible” claim means: the seller says it fits. The mower maker hasn’t confirmed it, and neither have we. Before you fit them, compare one against your old blade:
- Length and width match
- Thickness is the same. A heavier blade can unbalance the disc.
- Mounting hole is the same size. Anthbot, for example, uses a slightly larger hole than some brands.
- Screws are included and match the originals’ length and thread
Our table flags listings where the fit isn’t fully confirmed, even for some genuine packs whose titles don’t name every model. A sensible approach: use genuine blades first so you have a reference, then try a third-party pack if you want to save.

Replacement blades by brand
Mammotion blades (LUBA 3, LUBA mini 2, YUKA mini 2)
The genuine Mammotion Blades (24-pack) are the safe first choice. Mammotion’s own store says they fit all of its mower series, but the Amazon listing names only the LUBA mini and YUKA mini, so LUBA 3 AWD owners may prefer the KuddinX Mammotion Blades (30), the only listing we found that names the LUBA 3 explicitly. The FourShow Mammotion Blades (36) are the most-reviewed compatible pack and cost less than the genuine one. Mammotion’s washstand raises the chassis so you can swap blades without flipping the mower.
Segway Navimow blades
For the i105N/i110N, i2 AWD and i215 LiDAR, the FourShow Navimow Blades (36) are a cheap bulk pack. The FourShow Navimow 6-Blade Disc replaces the whole disc with one that carries six blades instead of three, for the i105N/i110N and i2 AWD. We didn’t find genuine Navimow blades verified on Amazon. Navimow sells its own Blade Assembly Plus (12 double-edged carbon-steel blades plus bolts) on its store and lists it for the i, X3 and X4 series. Navimow X3 and X4 owners: we found no confirmed blades on Amazon, so buy direct.
Husqvarna Automower blades
The genuine Husqvarna Endurance Blades (6-pack) fit the 410/420/440 iQ and the 435 iQ AWD. Husqvarna says they have cutting edges on all four sides, carbon steel hardened to 61 HRC, and more than twice the life of its classic blades. The EMBerg Automower Endurance Blades (18) are a lower-cost-per-blade alternative. See our Automower iQ review.
WORX Landroid blades
The official WORX WA0720 Long-Life Blades are double-sided stainless and listed for US models WR310 through WR346, which covers both the Vision Cloud and Vision Cloud 4WD. The FourShow WORX / eufy Blades (36) are a bulk alternative.
ECOVACS GOAT blades
The genuine ECOVACS GOAT Blade Kit is one of the least expensive genuine kits here. Its listing names the RTK and A3000 LiDAR models rather than the LiDAR PRO by name, but it’s the same family and likely the same blade. The FourShow ECOVACS Blades (36) name the A2000 and A3000. If you own the GOAT A LiDAR Pro or O1000 LiDAR PRO, the GOAT Trimmer Kit restocks the TruEdge edge trimmer.
Dreame, Sunseeker, ANTHBOT and eufy
- Dreame A3 AWD and A3 AWD Pro: the genuine Dreame Quick-Detach Blades (12) are tool-free. The listing says “Dreame Roboticmower series” without naming models.
- Sunseeker: the genuine Sunseeker Blades (12-pack) are listed for the S4 and “Orion X7”; X7 Gen 2 fit is unconfirmed. The FourShow Sunseeker Blades (36) cover the S4, X7 Gen 2 and X5 AWD at about half the price per blade.
- ANTHBOT M5 LiDAR and M9: the genuine ANTHBOT Blades (15-pack) are the genuine option, or try the Green Piece Anthbot Blades (30), sized for Anthbot’s larger mounting hole.
- eufy E15/E18: the FourShow eufy Blades (36).
Brands with no confirmed blades on Amazon
We found no blades on Amazon whose listing we could confirm for the Navimow X3 and X4, Lymow One Plus, MOVA LiDAX Ultra AWD, Roborock RockMow, Hookii Neomow X2, Airseekers TRON, Greenworks AiMowbot C30Z or Yarbo. Order from the manufacturer’s store or dealer, and be wary of generic listings that list a dozen brands.
How to change robot mower blades safely
Most swaps take 10–15 minutes. Check your manual first, since quick-detach systems like Dreame’s work differently.
- Disable the mower. Switch it off at the main power switch, not just the app, and enable any PIN or child lock so it can’t start.
- Wear cut-resistant gloves. The blades are small but razor sharp, and the disc can spin when you touch it.
- Lay it on a soft surface. Turn it over onto a towel or the lawn. Don’t rest its weight on a LiDAR dome or camera; support the body or use a stand.
- Clean the disc first. Brush off packed grass so you can see the screws and check the disc for cracks.
- Remove each screw with the tool supplied, usually a small screwdriver or hex key.
- Fit new blades with new screws. Replace the whole set so the disc stays balanced. Husqvarna says all blades and screws should be replaced together.
- Threadlocker: only if your manual says so. Many replacement screws come pre-coated. If you add any, use a small dab of medium-strength (blue) threadlocker on the threads only. Keep it off the smooth shoulder the blade pivots on, and never use high-strength (red).
- Check that every blade pivots freely. Spin the disc slowly by hand. A blade that’s stiff or clamped tight has lost its safety function.
Dispose of old blades wrapped in tape or in a small container so nobody gets cut emptying the trash. For pet and child precautions while the mower runs, see our robot mower safety guide.
How to make blades last longer
- Clear the lawn of sticks, pine cones and toys before scheduled runs, or set no-go zones around problem areas.
- Raise the cutting height a notch in sandy or rocky spots.
- Flip double-edged blades once if your brand allows it, as Mammotion recommends at about 50 hours.
- Keep a spare set on hand so a nicked blade doesn’t mean a week of ragged mowing.
- Store the mower indoors in winter with fresh blades fitted, per Husqvarna’s advice, so nothing rusts.
