What we collect

Robot Lawn Mower Guide does not require an account to use its guides or calculators. Optional newsletter signup collects an email address. Our calculators run entirely in your browser — nothing you enter leaves your device.

Email signup

If you join the optional newsletter, we collect your email address and store it with Resend, our email service provider, in this site's newsletter segment. This is separate from calculator inputs. Signup is for printables and at most one short email a week. Email delivery has not launched yet.

Your signup remains stored until it is removed. You can ask for access or deletion by contacting [email protected]. When email delivery launches, every newsletter will include an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops future newsletters but does not itself delete the stored contact; ask us for deletion if you want the contact removed. We do not sell newsletter addresses.

Cookies and analytics

We use PostHog to understand which pages are useful. It records page views, outbound and affiliate link clicks (so we know which recommendations help), and web performance metrics (page load timing and Web Vitals such as LCP, INP, and CLS). PostHog stores a cookie or local-storage entry to distinguish visits; session replays are disabled and we honor your browser's Do Not Track setting.

Outbound links to Amazon carry an affiliate tag so qualifying purchases can be attributed; Amazon's own privacy policy applies on amazon.com.

Affiliate disclosure

Robot Lawn Mower Guide is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
